Paris and French Delights - Art Exhibit of Paris Scenes

The "Paris and French Delights" Art Exhibit showcases a collection of French themed fine art photographs by St. Louis photographer Greg Matchick. This exhibit is being held concurrently with the Gateway Gallery exhibit "Paris and Other Delights" showcasing the work of the gallery's resident artists on a Paris related theme. Greg's photographs are hand-varnished fine art prints, a technique which gives them a painterly quality, commonly remarked upon. One must see them to appreciate this unique presentation of photography. The subjects of the photographs are scenes primarily of Paris but also include other scenes of France as well. This exhibit will be on display from November 18, 2009 through January 2, 2010 and there will be a reception on Friday November 20, 2009.
Where and When:
Gateway Gallery is at 7921 Forsyth in downtown Clayton, MO 63105
The exhibit will run from November 17 until January 2, 2010.
An artist Reception is Friday November 20, 2009 from 6 pm to 9 pm.
